Kim Winzeler and Megan Hinchsliff are sisters who have been working together in the contemporary furniture business in Chicago since 1987. They grew up in the furniture business as their father started a contemporary furniture company, Design Institute America, in the early 1970s. DIA was known as a leader in contemporary design. Kim started working for DIA at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in 1981 and Megan followed in 1987.
Over the years, their business has developed from representing a single manufacturer to representing over 25 leading contemporary furniture manufacturers and craftsmen from around the world. Now located in the heart of Chicago's design district, their business is named in honor of their two grandmothers Pauline Winzeler and Grace Call.
